For crafts you will need:
- wooden frame;
- napkins;
- white acrylic paint;
- contour on glass;
- decoration;
- alcohol;
- cotton pad;
- glue;
- varnish;
- scissors;
- the brush is wide and flat;
- double sided tape.
First of all, you need to wipe the wood with fine sandpaper. But my frame is perfectly even and smooth. Then degrease the surface using a cotton pad soaked in alcohol. Wait for the frame to dry.
From napkins, cut out the patterns or ornaments that you like best. Place them on the frame, cut off the excess. Separate the colored layer of the napkin from the white one.
I have part of the ornament printed on a white background. If I glue this fragment onto a wooden frame, the wood will show through with a yellowish tint. Therefore, if the background of the napkin is lighter than the color of the workpiece, then the workpiece must be painted in the color of the background of the napkin. Mine is white. There are no such problems with the blue fragment of the napkin. Using a wide brush, paint the workpiece in the desired color. Dry the paint.
Place the napkin piece evenly on the frame. Using a brush and glue, glue it on, carefully stretching and aligning the napkin. If the napkin wrinkles or an air bubble forms, lift it and glue it back evenly. Tuck in excess edges. Don't try to trim them. The napkin easily tears in the wrong place. Dry the glue well.
Initially, I planned to make a bright iridescent photo frame, but as work progressed I realized that it was already quite beautiful and laconic. That's why I just put a few golden drops on the ornament. Color your photo frame any way you want using glass liners and metallic acrylic paints. Dry the paint well. Coat the product with varnish. Dry. If necessary, apply several more coats of varnish.
Having examined my frame, I decided that it was missing some bright decoration. I found a snowflake in old New Year's toys. Glue yours decor using double-sided tape or glue.
