At the first stage we will create the basis for the composition. We apply the foam blank to a sheet of light purple corrugated paper, draw 2 circles with a pencil, which are 1.5 cm larger than it, and cut them out with scissors.
Apply glue stick to both sides of the workpiece one by one, glue the paper, stretching it. Then we paste a strip of paper measuring 6*22 cm around the workpiece.
We strip one of the ends of the wire from the braid by 1 cm. Cut 2 thin strips of light purple paper measuring 1*25 cm.
We wrap the wire with strips of paper, first from bottom to top, then in the opposite direction, fixing their ends with glue. Using a pencil, make a loop and attach the dragonfly.
We stick the stripped end into the center of the foam blank.The basis for the composition is ready.
In the next stages we will decorate the top and side parts of the base with flowers. First we will make 3 large red tulips. We will use candy as a pestle, and a toothpick as a peduncle. We take the candy, on the one hand, unwrap the candy wrapper, and on the other, fasten its end to the base with tape. We string the candy onto a toothpick and secure it tightly with tape so that it does not scroll.
Each tulip needs 6 petals, 3 of which will be double. To make them, cut a strip of red paper measuring 3*14 cm, roll it above the middle and fold it under the bottom. For single petals, cut the paper into strips measuring 3*7 cm, rounding their upper edges with scissors. We cut off the lower part of the petals as in the photo. Attach the double petals to the toothpick with thread, then the single petals. We stretch each one with our fingers at the base.
When the flowers are ready, we proceed to the leaves - hedgehogs. For each of the three hedgehogs, you will need 3 rectangles of green corrugated paper measuring 7*6 cm. Fold them so that their ends do not coincide, pierce them in the middle with a toothpick, lift the paper up and secure with tape.
We place tulips and hedgehogs on the base around the dragonfly in a triangle.
We will attach smaller flowers and hedgehogs to the side. Let's start with flowers, you need six of them. We cut out 18 rectangles measuring 3*4.5 cm from red paper. We give them the shape of petals as in the photo, and shape every three into a flower.
The technique for making small hedgehogs is the same as for large ones, the only difference is the size of the rectangles - 5*4 cm. You will also need 6 of them.
Visually divide the width of the base into 3 parts.Starting from the top, we attach small hedgehogs under the large tulips, a little lower with 2 small tulips between them.
At the very bottom, between the small tulips, add another hedgehog. The sweet bouquet is complete.
Unlike live tulips, these can be admired for much longer, and then eaten. I wish you all inspiration in your work and success in your creativity!
