Stylish handmade beads can be made from simple materials. For example, from wooden beads and cord for needlework. Moreover, finishing the beads with a cord will give such an accessory a solid look. These beads can be worn with an evening dress, since the color scheme is purple and black. This decoration option can be considered discreet, calm, emphasizing the refined taste of its owner. The very texture and range of beads indicates a serious, but romantic nature, since we will sew a small black flower on the side. We also decorate one bead with lilac rhinestones to add some accent - a bright spot to the accessory.
For work take:
- Wooden beads - seven pieces.
- Plastic beads – 8 – 9 pieces.
- The beads are small and black.
- Waxed cord for needlework (lilac, blue, gray, purple, black).
- Glue "Titan".
- Cord clips.
- The rhinestones are small without metal and lilac in color.
- Decorative chain.
- Fabric flower.
- Paints (acrylic).
- Varnish on acrylic, brush.
You should start working by preparing the beads themselves. Apply a little glue to the wooden bead (the area near the hole). On this glue, glue a cord of two colors (black + gray) folded together in a circle. Glue them tightly to each other without gaps.Do not apply glue to the entire bead at once because it dries quickly, but do this gradually with each turn.
Cover the second bead entirely with one color - lilac.
In the third, as in the first, combine two colors (lilac + gray). The next one is purple. Next, combine a gray cord with a blue one, and you can add a brown one along the edge. In other words, there can be many variations. Make a total of seven beads this way.
Since our beads will be combined, we will add wooden beads painted with acrylic paints to the already prepared ones. Paint two lilac and two purple. Apply paint twice. Once completely dry, paint over the paint with acrylic varnish to preserve the color. In total you will get eleven wooden beads.
Collecting beads on a thread
After all the preparations, let's start assembling the beads on the cord. Take a black cord and start stringing beads. Place a black striped bead in the center and frame it with two plastic beads on the sides. Next again are two beads (purple + lilac). Also insert white mother-of-pearl beads on the sides. Tie knots on both sides to secure.
Next, assemble the beads in a chaotic manner as in the photo, leaving space on the cord for the flower. You can sew it on the back side, or glue it with glue as you wish.
Opposite the flower, glue one of the beads with lilac rhinestones.
Place them on the cord so that there are striped beads on both sides. At the very top, place another bead covered with a cord and add small black beads. Decorate the edges of the cord with gold inserts and beads. The second part of our beads will consist of a piece of gold-colored chain folded in half.All that remains is to tie the ends of the cord to the chain. In order to hide unsightly knots at the attachment points, put metal clips on these places.
Now the handmade beads are completely ready to decorate your outfit.
