Materials:

  • old tires;
  • M5 screws with nuts;
  • galvanized self-tapping screws.

Chair manufacturing process

To make a chair frame, you need to cut 3 identical beads from tires. This is done with a sharp knife. To make the process easier and faster, the blade can be soaked in oil.

To fill the back, the same ribbons are used as for weaving the seat. They can also be woven or screwed with self-tapping screws with an intersection in the center, which is also not bad. In the case of crosswise orientation, they are additionally twisted together at the intersection.

A homemade chair looks very unusual. It wobbles slightly, but is stable enough to sit comfortably. This is the perfect garden furniture, which does not need to be painted or removed during rain or snowfalls. The thing is comfortable and durable, and also looks unusual. To keep it that way, you don’t need to skimp on screws. It is better to use with a normal layer of galvanization so that they do not rust.
