Even using the most common inexpensive tools, you can do the job no worse than professionals working with modern expensive equipment. You can modify a lot of your meager tools, and some things you can even saddle with your own hands. This collection contains advice from experienced craftsmen that is accessible to everyone.

1. How to tear off the foam double-sided adhesive tape

The adhesive tape can be easily torn off if you heat it with a hairdryer. It will literally fall off on its own.

2. Pencil mount for tape measure

Take a thin tube and drill it to the diameter of a screwdriver. Through this hole, screw it to the tape measure body with its own standard screw. Now you can insert a marker or pencil into this mount. It is convenient for them to mark distances when marking surfaces.

3. How to loosen a cable tie

The cable tie lock can be unlocked by inserting the tip of the tape under the lock tab. While she is squeezing it out, the tie can be released.

4. Wire stripper

Take the door hinge and place the blade of a mounting knife between its doors. Then line up their holes so you can insert the bolt through them. Tighten it with the nut.

As a result, we get something like a folding knife. Now, having placed the wire between the blade and the loop body, you can cut through its insulation to the core by turning the tool in a circle.

5. What to do if there is no vice

You can secure the part on the workbench without a vice or clamp. Just stick it down with a couple of pieces of adhesive foam tape.

6. Original hand tool wall mount

Nail the cord horizontally to the wall using cable clips. The distance between the fasteners should be 3-5 cm. Thus, awls, screwdrivers, files, chisels, etc. can be inserted under the cord.

7. Foam brush

Remove the bristles from the paint brush. Instead, screw a stationery clip from the end. You need to squeeze foam rubber into it. The latter is much more convenient when working with antiseptic impregnations, stains or oils.

8. How to put a key in a ring

To wind the key, hook the edges of the ring with a thin metal tube. Now you can put the key on it, and then slide it under the loop of the ring. Then starting it all the way will no longer be a problem.

9. Treating network cable damage

If the power cable has a crack in the top insulation, put a spring on it. This will protect the wire from critical bends in the future. If necessary, additionally insulate the internal wires with heat shrink tubing.

10. Garbage bag holder

Cut a 4-5 cm wide ring from the plastic pipe. Attach the mounting bracket to it using rivets. Now the latter allows you to fix the ring between the table top and the drawer. All that remains is to put a garbage bag on it and press it with paper clips or clothespins.
