- white PVA glue,
- disposable tableware (a couple of spoons and a glass, deep bowl),
- potato or corn starch,
- oilcloth or waste paper,
- hand cream,
- acrylic paints or gouache.
Let's get started. To begin, pour 3 tablespoons of PVA glue into a disposable cup.
Then add 5-6 tablespoons of starch with a dry spoon.
Mix the resulting mass thoroughly. First, carefully “drown” the starch in the glue, otherwise it will rise like a cloud of dust.
First, mix the mixture with a spoon in a bowl, then you can continue to do it with your hands. Depending on the quality of the materials, you may need a different ratio of ingredients, but the resulting mass should be smooth in appearance and not stick to your hands. It is also necessary to add a small amount of hand cream, this will not only give a pleasant smell, but also reduce the “stickiness” to your hands.
Now we can get to the fun part. While the porcelain is still wet, we form various figures from it, here these are hearts, cat faces and simply round blanks.
We leave it all to dry for about 3-4 hours, after two hours you can put the blanks on the battery, so they will not crack, as if you did it immediately after sculpting.
On the dried figures we use a pencil to sketch out patterns and faces.
Now is the time to put the paint to use.
Also at the final stage you can coat the work with varnish.
Depending on your wishes, you can easily turn these products into refrigerator magnets, a collection of painted “pebbles” or funny faces.
