Making a powerful flashlight

To power the 12V 70W LED panel, you need to assemble a battery pack with the appropriate parameters. The batteries for it can be removed from old laptop batteries. Before this, each of them needs to be tested. You will need to select 18 living batteries and assemble a large block from them. It will consist of 3 small blocks. Each of them uses 6 batteries connected in parallel. To connect them, you need to solder the contacts with a wire, or, as in the example, use plates and spot welding.

Then 3 small blocks with batteries connected in parallel are connected to the controller according to its circuit in series. The battery assembled in this way will have the required voltage of 11.1 V and a large capacity. The controller can be glued directly to the batteries using double-sided tape.

Next, an LED panel is screwed onto the aluminum case from the power supply. Before this, thermal paste is applied to its location so that the case effectively removes heat from LEDs and scattered it.
