Pool construction process
Having chosen a place for the pool, you need to clear it of weeds, stones and other protrusions. The construction site is cleared with a shovel and leveled.
After this, pallets are placed along its perimeter to form the sides of the pool. By constructing a bowl of 2x3 pallets from them, you can get a pool with a capacity of 9.5 cubic meters. water.
An edged board is placed on top of the pallets to join them together.
After this, they are trimmed on the outside with any available lumber; you can use an unedged board. Continuous sheathing is not required, you just need to give the structure sufficient rigidity so that it does not burst open from the weight of water.
The inside of the pool frame is sheathed with any sheet material. This is necessary to ensure that the film laid in the future does not tear. At the same time, the bottom is filled with sand.
If the interior lining is made from rough scraps, then in order to smooth out their edges, you need to cover it with a laminate backing or packaging bubble wrap. You can use corrugated cardboard from boxes. If cardboard is also placed at the bottom of the pool, then it is advisable to place a thin film or an old plastic tablecloth in front of it so that it does not become damp and ants do not chew it through.
Next you need to prepare a film to seal the frame. The usual cheap polyethylene film for greenhouses is used. Under the frame with sides 2x3 pallets you need to take 2 pieces of film 3x7 m and solder them together. For soldering, they are laid with an overlap of 15-20 cm and ironed through newspaper. This will cause the polyethylene to melt and weld together. Then the film is placed in the pool bowl.
You need to immediately turn on the pump to pump in water, since it will take longer to fill the bowl than it takes to build the bowl itself. At the same time, you can cover the frame with colored film on the outside to protect the boards from moisture and make the pool more representative. There is a ladder leaning against it on the side. As a result, from 10 pallets a bowl of 2.4x3.3x1.2 m is obtained, which allows several people to bathe comfortably at the same time.
