Ingredients:
- carrots 500 – gr.;
- garlic - 1 head.
Ingredients for marinade for 1 jar:
- salt – 1 tbsp;
- sugar – 1 tsp;
- citric acid – 2-3 grains;
- vinegar – 60 ml
- boiled water.
Snack preparation process
The carrots are peeled and cut into large strips. The length of the pieces should correspond to the height of 0.5 liter cans.
You also need to peel and cut the head of garlic into slices.
A little garlic is thrown into the bottom of the jars, then a straw is placed vertically on top. You need to fill it tightly, then put garlic on top. Half a kilo of carrots will make 2 cans of snacks.
Salt, sugar and a couple of large grains of citric acid are poured on top. Then vinegar is added and the jars are filled to the top with boiled, cooled water. After that they close and blurt out.
The jars are put into the refrigerator.In a day you can already try. The longer the carrots sit in the marinade, the tastier it will be. It can be stored for up to 25 days.
