Only vegetarians don’t like kebabs. And then, they came up with vegetable kebabs a long time ago. What to do if you want barbecue, but time doesn’t allow you to have a picnic? Wait? No! You can cook homemade kebabs. How? Very simple!

Homemade kebabs

All you need to do is marinate the meat properly. Choose the type of meat that suits your taste. The most common types are pork, lamb or veal. This recipe is for pork marinade. So, to prepare homemade kebabs you will need:

- pork, at the rate of 500g per person;
- onions, preferably the sharpest ones – 4-5 pcs.;
- salt;
- spices special for barbecue. If not available, mix: herbs de Provence, rosemary, chili pepper, coriander;
- soy sauce – 50g;
- lemon juice – 100-150g;
- dry wine, at the rate of 250g per 1kg of meat.
Cut the meat into characteristic pieces.

Season with spices. Good spices will add an unforgettable aroma.
Sprinkle soy sauce over the seasoned pork, followed by lemon juice.

Now it's time to stir.
While the meat absorbs the seasonings a little, cut the onion into rings. Add it to meat.

Mash the onion a little to release its juice, just be careful, without breaking the rings, it will look more aesthetically pleasing. Pour wine over everything and leave to marinate. Of course, it is better if this happens for at least 12 hours, but at worst, three hours is enough.

If you have the opportunity to grill kebabs in the fresh air, great. If not, make it at home. This can be done using different techniques: frying in a frying pan, cooking in a convection oven. It turns out very tasty if baked in a sleeve. Prepare a sleeve of the required length. Pinch the sleeve on one side and place the prepared meat there.

Pinch the other side of the sleeve and put it in the oven. You will need to wait at least an hour until it is completely ready.
Carefully remove from oven. Liquid may remain in the sleeve.

You can serve. Homemade kebabs look great. True, it lacks the smell of smoke, but the softness and taste compensate for this lack.
