Crochet pincushion in the shape of a donut

It can be crocheted with a regular crochet of medium thickness, using only beige and pink yarn, as well as a little padding polyester. To imitate powder, any leftover colored yarn is suitable (2-3 colors are enough).

Cast on 25 chain stitches from sand, light brown or beige yarn and connect this chain into a ring.The product is constantly knitted only in single crochets (all 3 parts), so the circular rows are formed correctly at the initial stage, plus they are knitted very quickly and easily.

The only rule! Do not forget to include additional columns (increases) in each new row and, moreover, constantly increase their number.
In total, you will need to knit two identical parts from this yarn.

Then fold the finished parts inside out (you only need to sew from the face) and sew these blanks together along their inner circles.


The outer sides of the two parts can also be assembled with a hook, tying them together along the contour with connecting posts.

External processing of the edges is also good because after stuffing the donut with padding polyester, there is no need to mask the remaining slot, because in the end it is knitted in the same way as the entire contour of the product. This makes it even and proportional on all sides.

The glaze should be soft pink and occupy 2/3 of the entire surface of our butter donut.


And chaotic drips, which can be made in different places from small chains of air loops (from 2 to 4), will give it more naturalness. They should also be knitted in single crochet stitches.


All that remains is to apply powder with multi-colored threads and sew the glaze onto the bun.
