Life hacks, master classes, useful tips, recipes.
You can introduce your child to sea creatures in a variety of ways, including through crafts. In our master class we suggest making a squid from paper using the technique origami.
Paper squid

To work you will need to take:
- square sheet of paper;
- black felt-tip pen;
- scissors.
Paper squid

We start making squid by folding a square diagonally.
Paper squid

After this, the resulting triangle needs to bend the side corners towards the center line.

Now we will bend the sides of the resulting square.
Paper squid

Let's make a fold in the bottom corner.
Paper squid

We begin to straighten the blank of the future squid, giving it a more elongated shape. To do this, straighten its right side and fold it into a triangle.

We do the same with the left side of the squid blank. The result is a rhombus.
Paper squid

In the upper part of the resulting diamond, we make two small cuts on the sides.
Paper squid

We bend the paper to the side and get the tail fin of our cephalopod.
Paper squid

Now let's work on the front part of the squid. First, turn the workpiece over to the other side.
Paper squid

For the triangle located in the middle, make a fold at its base.
Paper squid

Bend the triangle down and form another fold. The remaining slightly smaller triangle will be the squid's head.
Paper squid

From the lower remaining part we will form the tentacles of the mollusk. To do this, use scissors to make cuts on both sides.
Paper squid

We bend the small triangles on the sides in the opposite direction.
Paper squid

We cut the remaining part into strips, these will be the tentacles of the mollusk.
Paper squid

The tips of the tentacles can be slightly curled using a small round object (for example, a toothpick).
Paper squid

All that remains is to draw the eyes, our paper squid is ready.
