A fairly simple way to make soda at home. Based on the simple dissolution of CO2 in water. To do this, we will build a CO2 generator. Its work is as follows: when vinegar interacts with soda, CO2 is released, then it passes into the second vessel and there it dissolves in our carbonated liquid. Just lies?

We will need: vinegar, soda, a couple of plastic bottles, a tube, a piece of napkin or toilet paper.

Here's what we did:
As can be seen from the figure, two bottles are securely connected by a tube. Please note that in the second bottle where our carbonated liquid will be poured, the tube goes all the way to the bottom, and in the first bottle where the reaction will take place, the tube slightly peeks out from under the cap.

We pour 100 - 150 ml into the first bottle. vinegar into our second liquid, which we will carbonate. Close the second bottle tightly.

Then we roll up a tbsp in our toilet paper. spoon of baking soda. This is done in order to add soda at once and not lose CO2

We throw it in and quickly close it.

The reaction begins! For better absorption of CO2 by the liquid, it is necessary to shake it and also to increase the reaction, shake the bottle with soda and vinegar. In short, it is better to shake both bottles alternately.

After some time, the reaction will end and you will have a soda made by yourself!

One of the Western companies even sells this device.

I need to make a device, make a scientific station for the production of soda. For this you need two stainless steel thermoses of 1.5 liters each. car compressor and power supply from p/c. aquarium hose or gas line. that it was stronger to pull one into the other, see the diameter. a test tube for soda will fit from the case of a mercury thermometer, lower it on a fishing line and close the thermometer, then the second one, then shake the first one and the test tube will turn over and the reaction will begin, any apple cider vinegar will do the same. To speed up the process, connect the compressor to the first thermos to push out the remaining gases into a thermos with juice, sold in stores in 3-liter glass jars.

I tried it once, but the second jar of water wasn’t quite tight, I had the tube halfway up, and when the process was over, it turned out to be just ordinary water. Does manufacturing affect this?
And nothing else will explode due to pressure?

Do you need to close it quickly or can you just close it slowly?
After all, CO2 is also released?

    It could be simpler.
Just add soda and citric acid to the juice. All is ready.

hat, took a four-piece - 2 pieces, made tubes, soldered the lids so that they wouldn’t leak, poured a liter of vinegar into one of them and poured a liter of vinegar into the other, but before that I poured a pack of soda in there, a specific reaction took place, but the result was zilch. Don't be fooled, buy a siphon.

To be honest, it worked out, but the only minus is the taste of soda, and there are no gases themselves, but cool)
