Summer is just around the corner, which means girls will soon be in the time when they can do their hair, braid their hair, or simply create a romantic look by letting their hair down. Neatly styled curls look beautiful on their own, and if you decorate them with bright accessories (combs, headbands, hairpins), then envious glances are guaranteed.
You can make a bright summer accessory yourself. To make chrysanthemum hairpins you will need:

  • green foamiran (size approximately 6x10 cm);
  • foamiran of any color for chrysanthemums - white, pink, yellow, etc. (size approximately 20x25 cm);
  • paper or cardboard for patterns;
  • base barrette;
  • super glue or hot glue gun with a rod;
  • iron;
  • scissors;
  • toothpick for tracing the pattern;
  • compass for creating a pattern.

Using a compass, draw a pattern on paper - five circles, 8.3 cm in diameter; 7.8 cm; 6.8; 5 cm; 3.2 cm.

Cut with scissors. It is better to use cardboard for the pattern (this will make it last longer).
Attach the patterns to the foamiran of the chosen color and carefully trace them with a toothpick.

Now you need to cut the petals from the blanks. To do this, bend each circle in half in half, cutting the fold on both sides, without cutting to the middle.

Next, you need to cut the foamiran along the entire semicircle, leaving the middle untouched.

Each resulting petal must be rounded. To do this, without unfolding the workpiece, cut off part of the foamiran with scissors, grabbing both layers at once, making an oval edge at the petals.

Set the iron to heat on setting “2”.
Place the three smallest parts in turn on the heated iron for a few seconds, then remove your hand - the foamiran should fall onto the table.

All other blanks need to be processed a little differently: place the flower on the iron, wait until it comes away from it.

Make sheets for chrysanthemums from green foamiran. To do this, first draw a pattern on paper, then cut it out, attach it to foamiran and cut out two parts from it.

Using a mold, make veins on the leaves. If you don't have it on hand, you can do this with a toothpick.

Now you need to start assembling the hairpin. Heat up your glue gun or use super glue. Drop a little glue into the middle of the largest circle and place a smaller piece on top, continue this operation until the entire flower is assembled.

On the reverse side, turning it over, you need to glue the leaves.Try on how they will be positioned in advance, and only then apply glue.

On the wrong side you need to secure the hairpin itself. It should be applied so that it is not noticeable from the front side. Glue should be poured onto the hairpin.

If it is applied to foamiran, then there is a high probability that it may spread and be noticeable.
