Step-by-step instructions on how to close balcony windows
- Wash the glass. Measure the internal size of the balcony frames.
- From unnecessary tulle, cut out rectangles corresponding to the size of the glass. No allowances needed!
- Prepare a starch paste at the rate of 1 large spoon of starch per 0.75 liter of water. To do this, gradually pour the starch into boiling water, stirring continuously. The specified quantity should be enough for 4 average sliding frames, although much depends on the nature of the canvas.
- Dip the tulle pieces into the adhesive liquid until completely saturated.
- Distribute the damp, slightly wrung out material over the glass, starting from the center of the top. Press with your palms, paying special attention to the edges.
