Forest mushrooms are a favorite food product among many peoples. In the summer-autumn period, lovers of quiet hunting flock to forest areas to collect tasty and healthy mushrooms. An easy to prepare but very tasty dish is fried wild mushrooms with onions.

To prepare fried wild mushrooms, you can use one type of mushroom or an assortment of boletus, boletus, boletus, and porcini mushrooms. Before preparing any mushroom dish, it is important to carefully sort through the collected mushrooms. Doubtful, old, wormy fruiting bodies must be mercilessly thrown out.

Ingredients

To prepare mushrooms with onions, fried in oil, you need:

  • edible forest mushrooms 1.5 kg;
  • onions 200 - 250 g;
  • oils 70 ml;
  • garlic, optional 1-2 cloves;
  • salt.

Frying mushrooms

1. Wash the selected mushrooms, trim off the tips of the stems, leave small fruiting bodies whole, cut large ones into pieces. Place in a saucepan. Pour about 2 liters of water.

2. Heat the contents to a boil and cook for about a quarter of an hour. Drain the boiled mushrooms completely.

3. Cut the onion into thin half rings.

4.Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until it changes color slightly.

5. Place boiled mushrooms in a frying pan with onions.

6. Fry them in a frying pan, without covering with a lid, for about 40 - 45 minutes. Five minutes before readiness, salt the mushrooms fried with onions to taste and, if desired, add chopped garlic.

Fried wild mushrooms can be eaten as a separate dish.

They can be used as a filling for pies, pies and tartlets. Fried mushrooms can be seasoned with buckwheat or rice porridge.
