What will you need for this?
Little. You need to prepare plastic tubes, an old lamp, glue, some wooden sticks, some fabric.
Step one. Let's make the base.
Before making the base, we measure our lamp, which we will place in the base. Our lamp is very Soviet, old, but durable.
Having taken measurements from it, we must make the next wooden frame.
In general, the frame can be made from any material; we used wood for this. It can also be any shape, but we preferred the shape of a simple rectangle.
Step two. We are preparing the straws.
Take a package of cocktail straws.
We take out the tubes and fasten them. We get one long tube consisting of two. We choose the tubes predominantly yellow. This is necessary so that they transmit light better.You can also use various decorations, for example, attaching red inserts to yellow tubes.
Step three. Glue the tubes.
Then we take a glue gun and begin the sequential procedure: glue the tubes onto a wooden frame. As a result, we should get the following.
The tubes are glued on one side, now you need to continue gluing on the other sides. If there are not enough tubes, then one side can be covered with yellow fabric.
As a result, we have tubes on one side and fabric on the opposite side. But we also fill the remaining sides with tubes.
