Ingredients:
- frozen mackerel - 1 pc.,
- cold water - 200 ml,
- wine vinegar - 70 ml,
- refined sunflower oil - 70 ml,
- onion - 2 heads,
- sugar - 6 g,
- any seasoning for fish - 5 g,
- salt - 6 g,
- laurel leaves -1-3 pcs.,
- pepper - 3 peas.
It takes 5 minutes to cook, + it will take some time for the snack to cool.
Making a quick mackerel snack
1. Frozen mackerel is perfectly cut into even pieces and is easily removed from the entrails. Remove the head and tail, cut into 1.5 cm pieces, remove the intestines.
2. Cut the onion into rings.
3. Place the 1st layer of onion on the bottom of a small saucepan.
4. On top - a few fish pieces.
5. Cover them with onions. Repeat layers if necessary.
6. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
7. Whisk everything together.
8. Pour marinade over mackerel.
9.Place the saucepan on the stove and simmer the appetizer under the lid on the lowest heat for exactly 5 minutes after boiling.
10. Remove the lid and leave the fish to cool.
During the boil, the marinade spread a pleasant aroma, which permeated the mackerel along with the onions. This appetizer is very tasty cold, but it is no less attractive when warm. It is better to serve pieces of tender fish with sliced lemon.
