How to make a simple lamp from PVC pipe

Hi all! On the Internet you can find a bunch of homemade products made from PVC pipes. It would seem, what can be made from a PVC sewer or ventilation pipe? In fact, this material is simply a godsend for craftsmen. After all, the simplest PVC pipes can be quite easily and quickly transformed into incredible household items.
Now, I will tell and show you what I came up with.

To make it I needed:

I took a pipe for ventilation. Diameter 10 cm, length 1 m. Flange diameter is also 10 cm.

Making a lamp from PVC pipe with your own hands

I started with the simplest thing and assembled the base of the lamp. To do this, take a PVC flange, a polystyrene tray and use the flange to squeeze out a circle. The result was a perfectly even circle.

Marked the center of the circle and, using a light bulb socket, pressed a circle in the center.

I insert the cartridge and fix it with hot glue.

I insert the resulting structure into the PVC flange. And I also fix it with hot glue.

The base is almost ready. All that remains is to make a hole for the power cable. To do this, I insert the base into the PVC pipe and make a through hole. Select the diameter of the drill according to the thickness of your wire.

All that remains is to make a slot in the pipe (I bit it off with wire cutters). This way you can easily remove the pipe from the base. For example, if you need to replace a light bulb.
IMPORTANT! Use either an LED or energy-saving light bulb. An ordinary incandescent lamp will melt the lamp!

I move on to the most labor-intensive stage. I apply a random design using electrical tape.

I take the engraver and start cutting out triangles. The process is quite long, so be patient :)
The process is very dusty! Take care of your own safety! I recommend using safety glasses and a respirator mask.

I used these cutting discs.

It is best to use a larger diameter disc. It is more convenient to cut with such a disk and the cut will be more even.

The diameter of this light bulb is 95 mm. It fits perfectly with PVC pipe. Control is carried out from the control panel.

Thus, I got a spectacular Bluetooth speaker with RGB lighting. The lamp fits perfectly into the interior of my room. In the evening it creates a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
