Hi all! For many decades now, pet owners have been unwitting witnesses to the uncompromising war between their pets and Christmas trees. New Year's beauties attract cats like a magnet - this thing reminds them of a scratching post or a play complex, and shiny, multi-colored balls only provoke these pranksters and they happily attack the defenseless Christmas tree.
This year I decided to make an “anti-cat” Christmas tree and try to put an end to this long-running war.

For the Christmas tree I needed:
  • Furniture panel (remained from the old kitchen table).
  • Garland.
  • Toys.
  • Self-tapping screws.
  • Dye.

Making a Christmas tree

I painted the furniture panel black. I wanted the background to fade into darkness. I drew the silhouette of a Christmas tree and then screwed in screws in the corners.

All that remains is to test the tree to see if it is attractive to a cat.

The cat was not interested in the Christmas tree. She sniffed her, twirled around a little and went about her business.
I hope the truce lasts for a long time! Happy New Year, everyone! Happiness, kindness, love and good luck in everything!
