Already at the beginning of summer you can prepare lightly salted cucumbers. Varieties of vegetables grown not in greenhouses, but in open ground, are perfect for this. Lightly salted cucumbers can be eaten on their own as a snack, and they also go well with other vegetables in salads.

The easiest way to pickle is when cucumbers are ready to eat within a day. These are the appetizing, crispy and tasty cucumbers you get.

Products for cooking:

  • - young cucumbers – about 1 kg;
  • - salt – 1.5 tsp;
  • - sugar – 0.5 tsp;
  • - hot peppers – 0.5 pcs.;
  • - dill - a bunch;
  • - garlic – 2-3 cloves;
  • - raw drinking water – 700 ml.
Per jar 1.5 liters.

Procedure for preparing lightly salted cucumbers

We need to prepare all the products. Leave the cucumbers in cold water for an hour and then wash thoroughly. Wash the dill greens. Pay special attention to the lower part of the stems, where there may be sand.

Prepare the jar and lid.

Place chopped dill stems at the bottom of the jar. Cut the garlic cloves into two parts and add to the jar. We also divide the hot pepper into two halves, placing one part on the bottom of the jar.

To make the cucumbers salt faster, we make small cuts on both sides.

Fill the jar tightly with cucumbers, alternating with dill.

Place garlic, dill and some hot pepper on top of the cucumbers again.

Pour salt and sugar directly into the jar according to the recipe.

Fill the jar full with clean, cold, drinking water.

Close the lid. To ensure that the salt and sugar dissolve well, shake the jar. Since the water is cold, after ripening the cucumbers will practically not lose their bright color, but they will take a little longer to pickle. If you pour boiling water over the cucumbers, they will salt faster, but at the same time they will turn dark green.

Leave the jar of cucumbers at room temperature for a day.

In a day, the cucumbers are ready. You can eat them right away, or you can put them in the refrigerator, so they will be crispier.

The recipe for lightly salted cucumbers is incredibly simple and quick. You will only spend ten minutes of your time preparing.
