From a regular syringe, magnets and enameled wire, you can assemble a compact hand-held generator for emergency lighting. The device generates electricity by shaking. This is a fairly useful homemade product that is worth making even as a visual aid of how you can generate electricity through muscle power.

Materials:

  • disposable syringe 20 cc;
  • sheet plastic;
  • Super glue;
  • enameled copper wire 0.15 mm;
  • insulating tape;
  • round magnets – 12-14 pcs. -
  • lithium tablet battery;
  • diode bridge MB6F;
  • push-button switch;
  • LEDs - 2 pcs.

Generator manufacturing process

2 washers with an internal diameter equal to the circumference of the syringe flask are cut out of sheet plastic. They are put on the syringe with a gap of 3-4 cm, and glued with superglue.

On the side of the spout, a thin hole is made in one washer and the end of the wire is inserted into it. Then a winding of 1500 revolutions is made between the washers, and the wire on the reel is fixed with electrical tape.

The rubber piston is removed from the syringe rod and pressed into its flask until it stops.

Magnets connected to each other are placed behind it.

Their diameter should allow them to slide freely inside. Then the flask is sealed. To do this, you can cut off another piston and rod stop.

Thus, when the structure is shaken, an electric current will be generated due to the sliding of permanent magnets through the coil. The faster you do this, the higher the voltage, which can be seen when connecting multimeter.

A molded battery is glued to the generator body with hot glue. A diode bridge is soldered to its negative terminal. A wire is connected to the positive one, which at the same end must be brought to the bridge. After this, the ends of the coil winding are soldered onto the bridge. Then it must be insulated with a piece of heat shrink tubing.

Next, a push-button switch is soldered into the circuit. It must break the negative wire to which the contacts of the two LEDs. The free positive wire coming from the battery and bridge is connected to the remaining contacts.

LEDs glued to the nozzle of the syringe.

Now if you shake the generator, it will charge the battery. The energy accumulated per minute is enough for short-term work LEDs.

The result is a completely working version of a hand-held generator for emergency lighting, which can help out in the event of a power outage or lack of batteries in the flashlight.

    What can the greedy people think of - as long as they don’t buy batteries for the flashlight!!!))))
