Making watermelon marmalade
In order to prepare a light and summer dessert, you must first clean the watermelon pulp from seeds and peel.
Next, grind the watermelon with an immersion blender into a homogeneous mass.
Watermelon puree is filtered through a sieve in order to separate the juice from the pulp.
Strained watermelon juice is mixed with gelatin and left for 16-18 minutes.
Thicker watermelon mass should be heated until the first bubbles appear on the stove together with sugar and citric acid.
After boiling, the swollen gelatin is added to the saucepan with the heated mass. Stirring constantly, bring the watermelon sauce to a boil.
Next, the still hot liquid must be poured into silicone molds. The marmalade should be cooled for about two hours at room temperature, and then the molds should be moved to a cool place for another 2-3 hours.
After the time has passed, the marmalade is removed from the molds and left to stabilize and strengthen for 1.5 hours.
Incredibly juicy and refreshing watermelon marmalade will be an excellent dessert on a hot summer day, and is also suitable as a treat for any children's party or party.
