How to significantly increase the power of a toy motor so that it can be installed on a drone

Motors from radio-controlled children's cars have a fairly low armature rotation speed, so they are of little use.

If they are upgraded in the proposed way, they will be able to rotate the propeller with sufficient speed to be installed on a model airplane or drone.

Materials:

  • motor from a toy;
  • enameled wire 0.25 mm.

Motor modernization process

The motor housing is disassembled and the anchor is removed.

Instead, enameled wire is wound. 40 revolutions are made for each section of the core.

When moving from one section to another, the wire is soldered to the contacts; before this, the soldering area is cleared of the coating.

After rewinding, the armature is installed back into the stator and the housing is assembled.

The upgraded motor will begin to rotate very quickly. Its speed will be enough to take off and lift a small weight, of course, with a good propeller installed.

but not a word about the diameter of the wire... guess it yourself...

0.25, I hope this is the length in microns?
Or maybe the diameter is in parsecs?
Or is it in square inches?

then you need to immediately make the commutator brushes carbon.

And the current consumption will be enormous, plus the brushes will take 10 minutes of work.

The motor in the drill consumes even more, but this does not bother anyone

Wouldn’t it be bad to give an estimate of how fast the rotor will rotate? How does the speed of rotation depend on the number of turns of wire? How will consumption increase? Voltage/current - do they need to be changed? Anyway, a little math

Either I'm stupid or the skis don't work.I did everything as written here, but the motor stopped turning at all (current flows)! What needed to be proven: thicker wire => fewer turns => less induction => less Ampere force => less revolutions
