A mini drone - a remote-controlled quadcopter - can be very easily made at home. You can use it for games and as a model for studying the operation of a drone. The design contains a minimum number of parts, and construction will take 15 minutes or a little more.
Our simple model has neither engine speed control nor flight direction change. She knows practically nothing except how to rise into the air and descend at the press of a button. But if you want, then you can later assemble a more serious version and modify it with all the features you want.

A remote control with a receiver for remote control can be borrowed from a toy, for example from a broken car, or bought - Ali Express. The main condition should be that all electronics operate properly at a voltage of 3.7 V.
The 3.7 V battery was taken from an old mobile phone, it can also be purchased - Ali Express. There are still much smaller options to choose from.

Propellers will also have to be purchased - Ali Express. They must fit the engines. So it’s better to take them as a set - here on Ali.
Making a Drone - Quadcopter
So, first of all, let's assemble this lattice of four ice cream sticks. We fix everything with hot glue. This will be the main frame of our mini quadcopter.
We glue the battery to the frame in the same way.
We glue four engines with propellers into the corners of the grille.
Now you need to make the legs on which the drone will stand. Cut two ice cream sticks in half.
Attach it to the base.
Add the remote control receiving board. We connect the outputs of all motors in parallel.
We connect the motor wires to the output of the remote control board.
We connect to the battery.
Examination. We hold the drone from lifting and press the remote control button. If the propellers of all four engines spin, everything is working properly.
We go out into the open area, set up our quadcopter and check the work. The drone should fly up without any problems.
If the propellers spin but the structure does not take off, check the battery charge level. If everything is normal, you need to lighten the design. In principle, the power of such four motors should be enough to spare.
During construction, I recommend saving the overall weight as much as possible so that the drone is as light as possible. So use less glue, cut the wires as short as possible, etc.
