Ingredients:
- chicken legs or thighs – 1 kg;
- sour cream – 200 gr.;
- onions – 2 pcs.;
- water – 200 ml;
- ground black pepper;
- salt;
- chicken seasoning;
- vegetable oil
Cooking process
The chicken is cut into pieces. The skin is removed from them, as it will burn and ruin the dish.
Cuts are made on the pieces so that the meat is marinated completely.
Salt, ground black pepper and other seasonings are added to the meat to taste. Also add 1-2 tbsp. vegetable oil and mix everything.
Next, cut the onion into large pieces. After waiting literally 15 minutes until the seasonings are absorbed, you need to transfer the meat to a heated frying pan greased with vegetable oil. It is fried over high heat until golden brown.
The fried chicken is placed on a plate and the onions are poured into the frying pan. The fire is reduced to medium power.
As soon as the onion turns golden, add 200 ml of hot water and 200 g. sour cream.
The mixture is brought to a boil and the chicken is added to it again.
It needs to simmer for another 15-20 minutes.
For taste, after cooking, you can add chopped fresh dill to the dish.
