The process of forming a right angle without welding
A right angle on a pipe is formed by bending it. To do this, from the point of its execution, you need to build lines on 2 sides at 45 degrees. They are transferred to the opposite wall of the pipe.
The edges of the lines are connected, and the formed wedge is cut out with a grinder.
From a thinner profile pipe you need to cut an insert, the length of which is equal to the internal diameter of the one being bent. The ends of this part must be even.
The insert is placed in the cutout of a large pipe and pressed with a clamp. After this, their double walls are drilled and fastened with rivets.
The pipe is bent and the other side with the insert is similarly pulled together with rivets.
The result is an angle of 90 degrees. For reliability, you can add more rivets if necessary.
