Depending on the cooking method, chicken liver can have a completely different taste when finished. It can be dry, juicy, hard, crumbly. If you love tender liver, then be sure to try this simple recipe.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver – 900 gr.;
  • apples – 2 pcs.;
  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • salt and black pepper to taste.

The process of preparing liver in a jar

The onion is cut into half rings and placed on the bottom of a 1.5 liter glass jar.

You need to put a couple of apple slices on top of it.

On this pillow you need to lay out thin layers of peppered, salted chicken liver and apple slices.

The top layer should be apples.

Next, the jar is closed with foil folded in 2-4 layers.

The jar needs to be placed in a cold oven and the heat must be turned on at 180 degrees Celsius.

Depending on the power of the heaters, you need to bake for 25-35 minutes.

The glass tolerates uniform heating without any problems, so nothing will happen to the jar. After half an hour, you can turn off the oven and leave the dish in it for another 10 minutes to finish cooking.

The liver should be served with baked apples and sour cream.
