A very simple mini air conditioner that perfectly releases cooled air is very easy to build at home with your own hands.

The air conditioner is built as a fan with a heat exchanger based on a Peltier element. The entire installation runs on 12 Volts and consumes less than 7 A.

Details

Making a mini air conditioner

We cut out a circle of 110 mm from plastic according to the diameter of the pipe.

In the center we mark the window for the Peltier element.

Installing the element.

Lubricate one side with heat-conducting paste and apply a rectangle of aluminum strip.

We fasten it with self-tapping screws to the computer fan with radiator.

Lubricate the second side of the Peltier element with heat-conducting paste and install a small radiator. We fix it with self-tapping screws on the sides.

The cooling element is ready. If current is applied, the large radiator will heat up and the small radiator will cool. If you reverse the polarity, then everything will be the other way around.

We take a piece of pipe 110 mm and about 200 mm long. We drill holes in a circle as in the photo.

On one side we glue the cooling element with super glue.

On the second cooler we cut off the fastening arms.

We mount the power connector and switch on the side of the pipe. We solder all the wires.

Install the second fan and fix it with glue.

The mini air conditioner is almost ready, all that remains is to make a stand. To do this, cut a piece of 140 mm pipe lengthwise. Heat it on a gas burner and straighten it.

We cut out the stand and mounting corners from plastic.

Glue it to the air conditioner.

We connect the air conditioner to a 12 V 10 A power supply.

It blows great.

The temperature is lower than in the room.

This fan stands on the table and blows cool air onto your face perfectly.

The Peltier element, eh....there were times when I read about it in an electronics magazine as a child. We came up with a brilliant idea to make a cooling system for the processor out of it, how long is it short, but the creation process was completed and we began testing. And the percent and everything that was there came, the percent just fell apart, and everywhere there was a candidate who closed the mother ;D Eh... childhood, childhood.

It's cool, but useless))) On one side it's kind of cold, and on the other side it's a heater)))))
