This life hack will be useful to absolutely everyone who in one way or another deals with paint or other viscous liquids: varnish, oil, etc.

If you have the task of pouring some of the paint from a jar into another vessel, then you can’t just do it, since when pouring the paint, it will stain not only the edge of the neck, but also part of the base. Anyone who has tried it knows what we are talking about.

All this can be easily avoided if you use one little trick.

Will need

  • Masking tape.
  • Scissors.

How to carefully pour paint into another container

Open the metal can.

We tear off two pieces of about 10 cm each from a roll of masking tape. Glue them to the neck of the jar with a birdie.

We cut the convergence of the strips into a sharp nose. The paint will flow smoothly over it.

Now, without unnecessary complexity, you can carefully pour the contents of the jar into any other container.

Finally, remove the excess from the spout with a spatula.

That's all. You can now tear off the tape and throw it away.

The edges, as you can see, are clean. This jar can be easily closed with a lid and stored until the next need.

The drain container is also not dirty and is in perfect condition.

Tip: In any case, use plastic film as a working base, because anything can happen. And even the most planned actions can misfire. And finding protective film or newspaper is much easier than then scrubbing paint off the surface.
