Trap making process
It is necessary to cut a hole in the wall of the bucket to match the diameter of the bottle so that it fits tightly. You need to cut as high as possible.
The bottle is inserted halfway into the hole. A trouser leg or sleeve is put on the protruding bottom and secured with electrical tape. The fabric needs to reach the floor. This will be a path for rodents.
Peanut butter is spread on the neck of the bottle. Mice really like it. You can also smear it on the neck at the bottom of the bucket so that rodents try to reach it. Instead of peanut butter, you can use something else, such as pork fat.
The mouse, sensing the smell of the bait, climbs up the fabric onto the bottle. Then he slips on the narrow, slippery neck and falls into the bucket. The rodents will sit there until the morning until you remove them. Depending on the degree of your humanity, the catch can be released into the field or destroyed.
