Even if cooking isn't your thing, there are still some dishes that you can't mess up. If you do everything strictly according to the recipe, you will definitely get them. They have all the proportions of ingredients and spices calculated, so you don’t even need to taste anything, just put everything in the specified quantity. We offer just such a simple recipe for a dish made from potatoes, peppers and minced beef.
Ingredients:
- Minced beef - 300 gr.;
- potatoes – 5 pcs.;
- tomato paste – 2 tbsp;
- red pepper – 2 pcs.;
- green pepper – 4 pcs.;
- bulbs – 2 pcs.;
- garlic – 6 cloves;
- tomatoes – 3 pcs.;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- black pepper – 1 tsp;
- cumin – 1 tsp;
- thyme – 1 tsp;
- red chili pepper – 1 tsp;
- cheddar cheese – 100 gr.;
- water – 200 ml;
- olive oil – 90 ml.
Cooking process
Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. We also chop red and green peppers and onions. Then cut the garlic into thin slices. Next, cut the tomatoes into cubes. The crushed ingredients are placed directly on a baking sheet.
Minced beef, tomato paste and olive oil are added to them. Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt and spices on top according to the recipe.
200 ml of water is poured into the baking tray, then everything is mixed.
The homogeneous mass is leveled with the palm of your hand and covered with parchment paper.
It needs to be soaked in water so that it is soft and tightly covers the dish. It won't turn out dry.
Then the baking sheet is placed in an oven preheated to 230 degrees for 1 hour.
After 50 minutes, it is removed, the paper is removed, and the dish is sprinkled with grated cheese. It is then baked for the remaining 10 minutes.
The finished dish is set out to cool. After 5-10 minutes it can be cut into portions.
If you do this right away, it will crumble on the spatula.
