When you spend a long time in nature, there is nothing to recharge a discharged phone. The power bank may last for several charges, after which it will run out. For such situations, it is a good idea to have a generating charger, in which electricity is generated by converting mechanical energy. This device is very easy to make with your own hands.

Materials:

Charger manufacturing process

To make the body of the device, it is necessary to heat a piece of pipe 6-8 cm long until the plastic softens.

2 tubes with a diameter of 25 mm are inserted into it, and the workpiece is stretched with their help. You need to fix it in this position for a minute until the plastic hardens.

The ends of the body blank after stretching must be leveled by cutting them and sanding them.

Then plugs are cut out of sheet plastic for them. They must go inside.

A hole is made in one plug for the gearbox shaft. After this, the motor is glued to it. The shaft is accordingly brought out to the reverse side through the hole.

Wires are soldered to the motor contacts. Their second edge must be soldered to the voltage converter.

The plug with the motor is glued into the housing.

The converter module is also glued.

It is necessary that its USB port be directed towards the open end of the case. In the second plug you need to cut a window for the USB port. Then it is also glued in.

2 strips are cut from sheet plastic to make a gear rotation lever. They are glued together, then their corners are rounded. Holes are made along the edges of the lever. One to fit the shape of the gearbox shaft, and the second to fit the self-tapping screw.

The handle for the lever is made from a small piece of pencil. You just need to screw it on with a self-tapping screw. Then the lever is glued onto the gearbox.

Now, when you rotate the handle of the charger, electricity is produced, which is increased to 5 V using the module.

You can recharge your phone in this simple way. Of course, charging its battery to 100% is long and difficult, but you can still restore the charge a little to make a call.
