The “Intricate Waves” bracelet is made of bugles and beads and is woven using the Ndebele technique, although at first glance it may seem that the bracelet is made using some other technique. To create a bracelet you will need beads and glass beads. You can choose any color. And the length of the bugles is not important, just if yours is longer than mine, then collect not two beads, but three or four. You can quickly select the required amount of beads by eye.
So, prepare strong threads or fishing line, but keep in mind that the glass beads must be of high quality. For example, Chinese glass beads mercilessly cut any threads and even fishing line, so a product made from low-quality glass beads will not last you long.
First you need to weave the first row, onto which the fastener will then be sewn. It consists of twelve beads, string them on a thread as shown in the diagram. Then weave the second row, also consisting of twelve beads.
The third row is woven using bugles; first you need to string two beads (or more, depending on the length of the bugles), then one bugle.Weave the third row according to the pattern, the fourth row is also woven from beads and bugles. Weave all subsequent rows similarly to the fourth.
When the bracelet is the length you need, sew a clasp onto the ends of the product, which you can make yourself from large beads and loops. Hide the ends of the working thread in the finished bracelet.
The “Intricate Waves” bracelet is ready. If at the beginning of the work you make a row not of twelve beads, but of ten, eight, and so on (an even number of beads), then you will get a product of a different width, therefore, if you add beads at the beginning of the work, you will get a wider strip.
