home "You can do it right the first time: How to easily color eggs for Easter using natural and all available “dye”

Coloring eggs for Easter using hibiscus tea is a great option for those who like to use new methods. Decorated Easter eggs come in a variety of colors, ranging from pale purple to bright purple. You can adjust the color saturation and texture yourself. We show you a simple method of original painting using natural and affordable dyes.

Required:

  • chicken eggs;
  • 80 gr. hibiscus tea;
  • 700 ml. water;
  • vegetable oil.

We dye eggs for Easter with brewed hibiscus tea:

Place the tea leaves into a deep saucepan and cover with water. The liquid should completely cover the contents.

Remove the eggs for painting from the refrigerator in advance. The color will be more attractive if they are at room temperature. Wash the eggs and remove traces of the blue store seal with vinegar.

Using a tablespoon, drop the raw eggs into a pan of tea and water, then place it on the stove.

Bring the contents to a boil. Then, stirring, cook for 10 minutes.

Using a spoon, remove the already colored eggs from the pan and transfer them to a wire rack. As they dry they will take on a beautiful purple hue and texture. The longer you keep the eggs in the tea leaves, the more vibrant the color will be.

After the eggs are completely dry, blot the cotton wool or towel with vegetable oil and lubricate them. The oil will not only add shine to the decorated eggs, but will also additionally fix the paint.
