Cow's curd has a lower fat content than other types of curd and is not generally used much in cooking, but is ideal for making salads and sauces. It brings more benefits if consumed fresh.
It is not recommended to store cottage cheese for a long time, usually no more than 5 days. It is advisable to buy it in small quantities and replenish the leftovers as you consume it.
It is because of the small amount of fat that cow's curd prevents migraines. Contains calcium, vitamin B12 and protein. Fresh cottage cheese generally has the consistency of very thick yogurt and is less sour. The maximum fat content is 9%. Considering that it resembles yogurt, you can mix it with fruit purees, thereby obtaining a fruit curd cream.
But there is also another very simple recipe. This is a recipe for cottage cheese balls.

Curd balls

Ingredients:

- 180 g of fresh cottage cheese (5 or 9 percent fat content);
- 1 head of garlic;
- one bunch of green dill.

Place the cottage cheese in a plate and add salt. Peel 6-7 cloves of garlic and squeeze into the cottage cheese using a garlic press.
Mix well. Try it. It may be necessary to add salt or garlic.Maybe even both.
Form identical balls from the resulting mass.

Chop the dill as finely as possible.
Take one curd ball at a time and roll in chopped dill.

It will turn out very original. How tasty and healthy!
You can decorate a salad of tomatoes and cucumbers with these delicious curd balls and serve with meat.

Every dish you prepare must be tasty, otherwise your household will not appreciate it. But... It is always worth remembering that good food is:
- when its taste opens gradually;
- when her appearance causes appetite;
- when its smell causes copious and uncontrollable secretion of saliva.

And simple cottage cheese balls are just like that. Checked!
