To buy a mini-spray gun you need to spend several thousand rubles. To avoid this, every adult can assemble a small spray gun from simple, accessible and cheap parts, and this does not require special knowledge or professional skills.
DIY paint gun made from a ballpoint pen
You will need a ballpoint pen body, an empty plastic refill, a glass jar with a lid, a plastic clamp and electrical tape.
On the lid of the jar we draw diagonals at right angles and drill a hole at three ends.
We remove the tip with the ball from the ballpoint pen, and the top plug from the body and, stepping back 3 cm from the front edge, burn a hole at an angle of 30 degrees with a soldering iron tip.
We insert a flexible plastic rod into the hole until its end coincides with the end of the handle body. The junction of these two parts is sealed with electrical tape.
We insert the rod from above into the hole in the lid, which does not have its own pair at the other end of the diameter.To fix the handle with the rod on the lid of the jar, insert a plastic clamp from the bottom of the lid into one of the two holes, cover the body of the handle and insert a hole into the other. Tighten the clamp and cut off the unnecessary tail.
We shorten the plastic rod by cutting off part of it at an angle so that the end does not reach the bottom of the jar. This will prevent contaminants from getting into the tube and causing it to clog.
At some distance from the junction of the rod with the handle body, we burn another hole on top with a soldering iron tip. If it is closed, the paint will flow to the cut of the rod and be sprayed by the air flow of the compressor. When it is exposed to the atmosphere, the supply of paint stops, since the air pressure is released through it to the outside.
We connect the end of the handle to the compressor hose, pour liquid paint into the jar, turn on the compressor and close the top hole with your finger. The spray gun starts working.
To interrupt painting, simply remove your finger from the hole.
