Human imagination knows no bounds. Creative people can do all kinds of tricks: paintings with nails, landscapes on walls with putty, crafts from newspapers, dough and polymer clay. It’s worth remembering the breathtaking sculptural compositions that come to life in the eye of a needle! And after all, every person hides a creative nature under the guise of an office worker. Almost every unnecessary item in the house can be reused: CDs, pieces of fabric, scraps of thread and even old empty glass bottles. It is from one of these pieces of glass that you can make a cute flower vase.
To do this, you will need the bottle itself, cotton threads, acetone or nail polish remover, acrylic or stained glass paints, ice water, brushes, matches and a little patience.

Miniature glass bottle vase

First, remove all paper labels. Tip: if the sticker is glued well, place the bottle in a bucket of warm water for 20 minutes - then it can be easily removed with a cloth.

Then we select the optimal height of the future vase and wrap the bottle with thread along the diameter in the selected place. In this master class, the height is chosen based on the end point of the wide part of the glass.

Having secured the thread, carefully remove it from the bottle and place it in a container with acetone or nail polish remover. You can immediately place the thread in acetone and then wind it around the bottle. However, sometimes the thread gets tangled, so the more effective method is the one described in this master class.

Then we also carefully pull it back onto the bottle. This is where a somewhat dangerous process begins, as it may seem. But in reality there is nothing wrong with it. It is necessary to carefully set fire to the thread along its entire diameter.

When it finally stops burning, the bottle must be placed in a container with ice water. And in the place where the thread was located, the bottle will break into two parts.

After wiping the workpiece, you can begin to design it. In the master class, the background color was white, and the paint used was acrylic. After covering the vase with the first layer, you need to give it some time to dry. Since acrylic dries quickly, it will take about 20 minutes.

Then we paint the vase with the motif you chose. Here there are no limits to imagination: you can paint it as you wish, as your soul dictates. This master class demonstrates painting in a chaotic manner, without any meaning. Since the presented bottle has edges, the pattern on them alternates.

Finally, give it some time to dry completely and, voila! Here's the final result. This container can also be used as a candlestick.
