For such a grandiose thing, you will be helped by such materials as: scissors, colorless glue, fabric or satin ribbon, needle and thread, rivet button, matches, chain, four links, half a meter chain and lock, A4 sheet or glue sheets, cardboard sheet.

First of all, we make the insides of the notebook, namely the leaves. They can be made using a simple sheet of A4 paper or glue sheets. If you chose the first option, then fold the sheet like an accordion and then cut them into the size you want your notebook to be.

Or we take glue sheets and simply reduce their size, and then glue them together.

Now we take a piece of cardboard and measure it around the small leaves. Only in such a way that there is still room for a rivet, just like books were made in the old fashioned way, and here it will be a little similar.

We cut the cardboard to the required length, which will become the basis of the notebook, and take fabric or satin ribbon.

We measure around the cardboard paper with fabric or tape, make the tape the size you need, cut it and sew the cardboard with the fabric using regular stitches.

Using an awl, we make a hole at the top of the notebook and connect it with a link to the chain. You can also make a hole at the bottom and add some kind of pendant that will add its own originality.
