Warmth and comfort in the house is very important. It’s very nice to come home after a hard day, change clothes and put on warm, soft slippers. You can buy good house shoes in a store, but it is much more pleasant to wear cozy, beautiful handmade slippers that radiate the warmth of your own hands.

To make cozy slippers for your home you will need:
- two multi-colored skeins of warm thread. I used a mixed thread - acrylic with wool, purple and green.
- a crochet hook of a size suitable for the thickness of the threads.
- scissors, needle and thread for sewing.

Feet are always warm

We start knitting by making the sole. First you need to make a chain of thirty-two air loops.

Then we tie the chain on both sides. At the ends we knit two single crochets in one loop so that the fabric expands smoothly and does not bend.

We knit the second row half of single crochets - fifteen pieces and double crochets. This is done so that the insole expands from heel to toe.

We knit the next row again only from single crochets.

So, alternating rows of exclusively single crochets and those that divide the insole in half, we knit it to the required size.

When the insole is ready, we begin tying and shaping the slipper. First, we simply tie the insole around the perimeter without adding anything. We knit the second row from double crochets and air loops. We knit a double crochet into the bottom loop, then we knit three air loops and knit a second single crochet into the same loop. We knit the following groups with a pass in the three lower loops.

We knit the third row in the same way as the second row.

The fourth row differs from the third in that between the groups of double crochets we now knit not three chain stitches, but two. In addition, we begin to narrow the toe. This is done simply: instead of groups, we knit only one double crochet until the sock is rounded. In the fifth row, the distance between the groups decreases again. Now we knit one air loop and narrow the toe more, and also slightly narrow the heel.
We complete everything with a strapping row. We do it with the thread that is used to knit the insole.

Using the same thread we make a placket with a buttonhole.

We tie two beads with green thread - they will serve as beautiful buttons, and sew them to the slippers.

Such slippers will not only warm your feet, but also make them more elegant and beautiful.
