Sometimes, when going to visit someone or for a birthday, we think for a very long time about what to give. It often happens that this person already has everything he needs. At such moments, homemade gift ideas come to the rescue. They may not be expensive or chic, but they are always sweet, kind and comfortable.
One of these ideas could be a fragrant tildo - a bear, sewn by hand. It’s not difficult to make, and if you have children, they can take part too.

So, for the bear we need:
• Fabric (ideally burlap or double-thread, if this is not available, then you can use linen or cotton)
• Filling (holofiber, padding polyester, padding polyester)
• Needle and thread
• Scissors
• Tea brewing
• Instant coffee
• Cocoa powder
• Vanillin
• Brush
• Pen and paper

needed for cooking

1) Draw a sketch of a bear cub on paper. We immediately mark the place from where we will fill the toy with padding polyester and cut it out.

2) Place the pattern on the fabric, trace it and cut it out, leaving 0.5 cm seam allowances around the entire perimeter of the toy.

Attaching the pattern

3) Place the patterns right sides facing each other.Using a sewing machine or by hand, sew the halves of the teddy bear. Don't forget to leave a small hole for turning inside out and cut the seams in the rounded places on the legs so that the seams don't bulge later.

4) Now turn the toy inside out and fill it with padding polyester, carefully compacting it with a stick or pencil. Having straightened the filler and made sure there are no irregularities, we sew up the hole with a hidden seam.

5) The next step is to paint the teddy bear. To do this, mix coffee, tea leaves, cocoa and vanillin. Very lightly, almost without pressing, apply the resulting mixture onto the fabric with a brush.

6) After painting, make a loop in the corner of the teddy bear and hang it in the oven to dry. This will take about 10 minutes over low heat. You must be careful not to burn the bear.

7) Once the teddy bear is dry, you can draw a face for it. Acrylic paints are ideal, but you can also use regular waterproof eyeliner. And now our bear is ready to delight its new owner with its coffee and chocolate aroma.

P.S. And if you put it near your pillow at night, you will only have pleasant and kind dreams.
