During use furniture sooner or later it becomes unusable. If your family's budget cannot afford to replace old furniture, then this can be solved by renovating it yourself. As an example, let's imagine a computer chair. More precisely, reupholstering a computer chair with your own hands.

The first and most important step is the choice of material for upholstering a computer chair. Today the market offers a wide range of different materials. Starting from ordinary upholstery fabric and ending with leatherette or genuine leather. It is necessary to choose a material that will have the necessary technological properties (extensibility, strength, etc.). And also match the design of your room. Our choice settled on genuine leather.

In addition to the upholstery material, you need to pay attention to the condition of the filler. If it is trampled or begins to crumble, it needs to be replaced. Foam rubber or polyurethane foam can be used as filler.

Before you begin the process of reupholstering a computer chair, you need to prepare the necessary tools: Phillips and regular screwdrivers, narrow-nose pliers, a stapler, staples, a ruler, scissors, a utility knife, an open-end wrench and a spanner (8-10).

Now let's proceed directly to the constriction itself. First, unscrew the backrest and remove the old upholstery.

chair assembly

To do this you will need an anti-staple gun or a simple screwdriver, because... the material is attached using staples. Then we cut out the new one to the size of the old upholstery and use a construction stapler to attach it in place.

We carry out the same procedure with the seat of a computer chair. After the back and seat are tightened, we screw them into place to the chair frame.

A complete hat! You don’t need any intelligence or skill to disassemble a chair!!!! The author did NOT reveal the essence: "...and with a construction stapler we attach it in place...." We attach it in place.... - that's the main thing!!!!! not easy!! And you won’t be able to achieve even the same quality as in the last muddy photos the first time!!!
