A handsome kitten, playful, funny and clumsy - a symbol of a cozy home, good mood, warmth and love. There is nothing more pleasant than holding a fluffy miracle in your hands, listening to his purr and understanding how much you need him. Or create a miracle yourself...

Today we will knit ourselves a kitten.

let's knit a kitten

We will need yarn from the Trinity Mill "Angora" (wool mixed with mohair) in two layers, a hook No. 2.5 and some "Iris" threads, filler (sintepon, padding polyester or holofiber), plastic eyes, fishing line and glue.

We knit each part separately, in a spiral. It is not at all necessary to strictly adhere to the exact number of columns, you can improvise, and if you want to change the shape a little, then why not?

Head.
Begin knitting with 6 looped single crochets (hereinafter sc) - this is the traditional beginning of each part. In the 2nd row we double the number of sc (12), in the 3rd and subsequent rows we evenly add 6 sc. We make additions up to 42 sc, knit 3 rows without additives and begin decreasing in the reverse order. Having reached 12 sc, we fill it with Photo No. filler and finish knitting the head.

Front paws.
6 sc in the ring, in the 2nd row we double it to 12 sc, in the 3rd row we add 3 sc and then knit to the desired length, we have 15 rows.

front legs

We stuff and leave the thread so that we can then sew it to the body.

Hind legs.
6 sc in the ring, in the 2nd row we double it to 12 sc, in the 3rd row we add 6 sc.
4 r - 1 lush column, 2 sc, 1 magnificent column, 2 sc, 1 lush, 11 sc. lush columns imitate claws - this is the front part of the paw. In the 5th and 6th rows above the claws we make 3 even decreases, leaving 12 sc. Let's stuff it.
We knit rows 7, 8 and 9 evenly.
From the 10th row we begin to increase in the front part. In rows 10, 11, 12 there are 3 increases.
Rows 13 and 14 are knitted evenly.
At 15.16 we decrease 3 sc in front.
In the 17th and 18th rows we knit 15 sc. Stuff and leave the thread.

Torso.
We start with 6 sbn and continue to knit as we knitted the head, but 1 row more and increase the increase to 48 sbn. then we knit 7 rows evenly and begin to decrease. We also make decreases by 6 sc, but not in each row, but every other row. The body is shaped like a pear. Decrease to 6 sc and leave the thread.

Ears.
We cast on 10 ch and knit a triangle with reverse rows of sc, decreasing by 2 sc. in a row. We tie the triangle with sc. The ears turn out to be single and slightly drooping, because we are knitting a British fold.

Tail.
We start in the same way as the front legs, knit 15 rows and make 1 increase, after 15 rows another 1 increase, then we knit another 15 rows and the tail is finished.

Tail

We have connected all the parts of the body, and now it's time for assembly.

it's time to assemble

We figure out where and how best to sew each part and carefully attach it.

it's time to assemble

We assembled the body with legs and tail, then we began to form the muzzle. First we sew on the ears.We simplified the work and did not knit the cheeks, but simply embroidered the red nose with “Iris” and pulled it off from the inside, highlighting it on the muzzle, and simply glued the eyes. And then they attached the head to the body.

head to body

The last step was attaching the antennae. In our version, this is a 0.3 mm fishing line, folded into 20 folds, cut off at the edges, fastened in the middle and pulled through the cheeks.

fastened in the middle

That's all. Another cat appeared in the house.
