Of all the prepared sections, you need to put one aside from the work; it will be needed in the final stage of creating the decoration. The remaining ribbons are needed to make flower petals.
To do this, the piece should be folded in half along its length, with the wrong side inward.
After this, you need to cut off the upper corner of the part using a soldering iron. The folded section is placed on a wooden cutting board and pressed with a metal ruler, which will mark the cutting line. It is necessary to cut starting from the upper left corner towards the bottom diagonally, not reaching the lower right corner by 1 cm.
This method of cutting fabric allows you to simultaneously cut off excess material and solder the folded sections together.
Next, the part needs to be straightened so that the seam is in the middle.
Now the lower cut must be burned with a lighter flame so that the fabric does not fray. Next, the part must be turned with the front side towards you and both edges at the bottom should be tucked towards the middle and burned with fire in this position.
The petal is made, the rest are created in the same way. The end result should be 54 pieces.
Now you need to carefully burn the edges of the prepared circle. It will be the base of the flower. Along its edge you need to glue 9 petals in a circle with a glue gun, which will create the first row.
Then in the second row you need to glue 9 petals in the same way, but placing them between two parts of the previous row.
Using the same principle, the remaining petals are glued until 6 pieces remain free. The remaining details will be the last row and completion of the flower. To do this, you need to pour a little glue into the empty middle to make the base stronger. And in the collected glue you need to strengthen the left petals.
There is not much free space left in the middle of the color, which should be filled with 3 large beads.
On the wrong side of the flower you need to glue a hair elastic, placing it in the center.
To hide the place where the elastic is glued and make the decoration complete and neatly decorated, you should glue the piece of tape that was set aside at the very beginning. You need to cut out a rounded piece from it and secure it at the junction of the elastic band with the flower.
The White Dahlia decoration is now complete.
