Tea and chocolate can also be a great New Year gift. The main thing is to know how to present them.
What will you need to create a gift?
- Tea (here we used tea with tags, a small package for 25 bags. Accordingly, the dimensions of the gift box were selected to fit it).
- Chocolate bar.
- Colored paper.
- Landscape sheet of white paper.
- Whatman.
- Gouache.
- White threads (50g/150m).
- Hook No. 2.
- Red satin ribbon.
- Stationery knife.
- Red felt-tip pen (you can do without it).
- An eraser (it must be new, and not previously used, since we will make a stamp from it).
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Lighter (burn the ends of the ribbons).
- Paint brush.
- Black pen (it’s best if it’s a gel pen).
Let's start by "patterning" a box in which we will place tea and chocolate.
We draw out the whatman paper, cut it out, draw it along the fold lines with a stationery knife (this will make it much easier and more even to bend the whatman paper). You can prepare several patterns at once and make more than one box at the same time.
Now cut out a rectangle from a sheet of colored paper, 5 mm smaller in height and width than the top cover of the box.
For now, let's put the workpiece aside and get down to making the stamp. To do this, we only need an eraser, a stationery knife and a pencil. We draw any attribute of the New Year on the eraser and carefully remove the excess with the help of a knife.
The stamp itself is ready. All that remains is to use it to decorate the box. We take gouache of the same color as the paper on the lid of the box, apply it in a thin layer to the unnecessary paper, “dip” the stamp and decorate our box. The drawing from the stamp can be outlined with a red marker, as if shifting the outline a couple of millimeters, or it can be left unchanged.
Once the paint has dried, you can glue the box together.
Now let’s do something that will prevent tea and chocolate from being considered such a banal and uninteresting gift - comic instructions for use.
If you want to make a small gift present larger dimensions, then in addition to what you make using this MK, you can also add a blanket. No one will remain indifferent to such a present. For the next step you will need basic crochet skills. Using any pattern found on the Internet or knitting magazines and which is more understandable and attractive to you, knit a snowflake with white threads.
If you have never held a hook in your hands, then this is the best time to learn how to use it. It won't take much time, but it will bring a pleasant and impressive result. Now the final step. We put a chocolate bar and a package of tea into the box. We twist (or fold) the “instructions” and tie them with a ribbon.
Then we decorate the box itself with a knitted snowflake and also tie it with a ribbon.
