Small candles will help fill the festive night with romance, and a candlestick made of salt dough in the form of a New Year's wreath will become a relevant attribute for this occasion. Such a souvenir can also be an addition to gifts and congratulations for loved ones. The warmth and attention brought into the manufacturing process will make this gift dear to the heart and memory. To make a New Year's candlestick you will need: salt dough, water, ribbons, beads, multi-colored foam squares, green paint, white gouache, sponge, candle, scissors, glass, PVA glue.

Manufacturing process:
1 step. Roll out a piece of salt dough into a layer about 1 centimeter thick. In size it should be slightly wider (1-1.5 cm) than the glass in the place that will then be used to cut out the base of the New Year's candlestick.

Step 9 Glue the second sausage. Flatten where the two ends meet each other.

Step 10 Take scissors with thin and sharp ends. For this purpose, nail scissors may be the most suitable. Carefully cut needles from the dough on the top and bottom of the candle holder.

Step 11 Place the candle inside the candlestick to check. It should fit freely inside the hole.

Step 12 Before further decoration, the salt dough candlestick must dry and harden. This process will last about a day in a warm room. Things will go much faster if you use the oven. In this case, the heating temperature should be no more than 60 degrees, and the door should be slightly open.
