Artificial flowers will never replace real ones and this is an undeniable truth. But freshly cut buds are pleasing to the eye for only a few days, so when craftswomen create interior decorations, I use fake substitutes.
Nowadays artificial flowers are made from higher quality materials, and their shape is so perfect that it resembles a real representative of the flora. Therefore, plastic material can and should be used to create paintings.
To work you need the following components:
- a sheet of thick cardboard;
- a can of white paint;
- wooden or polyurethane plinth;
- universal glue or liquid nails;
- decorative mesh and artificial thread;
- different types of plastic and fabric flowers.
First you need to prepare the bases for the paintings. Rectangles of a certain size are cut out of thick cardboard. Based on their area, skirting boards are selected to form a frame for the picture. They can be secured with nails, or better yet, with universal strong glue.
Then the bases are covered with paint; it is convenient to use spray cans. This paint applies more evenly and dries quickly.
Then the florist’s imagination comes into play.You can glue long and large buds first. In the photo these are orchids. Then the empty space is filled with smaller flowers and berries. Roses, cornflowers, daisies, lilies of the valley, bells and others look good.
As a decorative addition, mesh for bouquets, multi-colored threads, butterflies and other tinsel are used.
These are such wonderful pictures!
