The clamp is made from strips 5 cm wide, from which many identical squares should be cut. The width of the tapes should be equal to the sides of these squares. Now you need to prepare petals from them for decoration.
A square of blue fabric needs to be folded in half to create a triangular-shaped piece.
Then, using the same method, you should fold the blue ribbon blank and place it on top of the prepared blue part. The fold lines of the two parts should be parallel to one another.
Then, holding the piece of two types of ribbons, the corners on both sides should be turned towards the center, covering the blue fabric inside.
As a result, the square part has two fold strips in the middle, along which it needs to be folded in half.
Thin uneven corners must be trimmed for alignment, while at the same time scorching the lighter with a flame to fasten the ribbons together.
Then, when determining the depth of the petal, you should measure 0.6 cm from the fold line, and cut off all excess fabric. The resulting set of ribbon cuts must be divided equally into two sides and singed separately.
The result will be a rounded petal for the central flower.
You will need 6 such parts, which after their creation must be combined into a small flower.
The decoration consists of elongated petals with a pointed tip. To create them, you need to fold the blue squares diagonally.
Then fold the pieces in half again.
And again fold all the blue triangles in half.
Now you get blue triangles, folded in four layers. Their thin and slightly curved corners should be cut off, immediately scorched with a flame of fire to hold the ribbons together.
All that remains is to make the depth of the petals equal to 0.7 cm. The excess length of the tape must be cut off and the edges carefully singed.
The result is elongated petals.
The snowflake consists of two types of petals: single-colored blue and double, connected from blue and light blue ribbons. The second type of petals is different in that triangles of two shades, blue and blue, should be folded simultaneously.
Now you need to assemble the hair decoration from the prepared parts. The snowflake consists of a middle flower and 6 separate branches. Each branch is created separately and consists of two blue petals and one double petal.These parts need to be joined together to form a trefoil.
Now you need to attach the prepared branches between the petals of the middle flower.
On the underside of the snowflake, glue a circle of blue tape with a diameter of 4.3 cm, which will completely cover the bases of the petals.
Then you need to secure the hair clip, placing it exactly in the center of the snowflake.
All that remains is to decorate the created snowflake with rhinestones, sparkles and blue beads.
