For work we will use materials:
- transparent champagne glass.
- a small birch branch.
- colorless furniture varnish.
- plastic suede pink and a little green.
- cardboard.
- pink shiny sequins.
- artistic brown and white paint.
- thin brush.
- scissors.
- toothpick.
- gold-colored beads.
- glue gun.
- transparent thin and paper tape.
- candle.
- a glass of boiling water.

- iron.
And before starting to make the candlestick, we draw flower patterns. The first looks like a flower of 4 petals, 2.5 cm in diameter, and the second of 5 parts together, 4 cm in diameter.
Now we take a small birch twig and pour boiling water over it from a kettle. Shake off and remove excess moisture with napkins. Then we turn the glass upside down and use paper tape to attach the branch to this base.
Now you need to give the branch time to dry, but you can speed up the process by using a hair dryer. The main thing is that the branch should be dry.
Now take a glass and white paint. Use a brush to paint the leg completely.On the circle of the bottom of the leg, which will serve as a stand for the candle, we leave a transparent figure in the shape of an irregular star. And at the junction of the stem and the glass we also paint 3 triangles. Along the edge of the glass we also place 4 figures in the shape of wide angles.
And we cover the dry branch with transparent varnish to resist fractures. And give it time to dry.
So the base for the candlestick is ready. The glass and the branch are dry.
Let's start with the flowers. From pink plastic suede, using a toothpick, outline 10 small and 12 large petals according to patterns. And carefully cut it out. And cut a 1 cm strip from green material.
Since suede changes under the influence of heat, we will make a new shape for the flowers using an iron. One by one, apply the pink blanks to the heated iron. Under the influence of heat, the part itself begins to shrink inward and falls away from the iron.
In this way we change the shape of all the flowers.
Now let's move on to the leaves. We cut the green strip into 1 cm squares. And then we round off the opposite corners, resulting in a boat shape. You will need 9 such leaves.
We continue to work on the leaves and use a toothpick to draw the middle main vein of each piece.
Now let's get back to the flowers. We take the workpiece, apply it with the middle to the iron for a couple of seconds, place it in the palm of our hand and quickly press it with the other edge of the brush into the middle of the flower from the front side. This creates a small depression.
We do this for all parts.
The flowers are missing stamens. We will make them from golden beads. For small ones, 1 piece is enough, and for large flowers you need to glue 4 to 5 stamens.
Let's now start making the bottom of the candlestick. On the cardboard we outline the edge of the glass, but cut it out with an allowance of 0.8 cm. If the cardboard is thin, then we make 2 - 3 such parts. Then grease the inner circle with glue.
And pour pink sequins on it.
After this, apply glue to another half of the remaining space on the cardboard. And place the glass upside down on the prepared place. The decorations will be inside the glass.
Now let's start attaching the branch to the base of the glass. We glue the bottom of the branch with a gun at the very bottom, onto the cardboard. And we secure the rest of the part with thin transparent tape in 3 - 4 places to the glass.
We take small flowers and attach them to the upper parts of the branch. We place it at our discretion.
Then we distribute large flowers, starting at the bottom of the candlestick.
All that remains is to glue the green leaves. Since sakura is from Japan, we’ll add a good luck hieroglyph to the glass. Paint with a brush using brown paint.
And to complete the composition, all that remains is to add a candle.
This candlestick will look gentle with a wide candle.
