Crocheted Christmas tree

There are never too many Christmas trees for the New Year, so small knitted Christmas trees can be prepared as an independent gift or included in a box with a New Year's set. This indispensable New Year's attribute will delight, decorate, and be remembered.

Another pleasant moment is that needlewomen always have the materials for making a knitted Christmas tree at hand. Leftover yarn in all shades of green, white, blue, and silver will come in handy. Yarn like “grass” or sectionally dyed will be very useful; a melange of threads of several colors will look beautiful; thread with lurex will add the effect of shimmering snow. If you use thick yarn or cord, the product will turn out textured and embossed. In general, here proceed from the entire variety of supplies in your master's pantry.
In addition, all sorts of sparkles and bright things will come in handy. These are beads, buttons, satin ribbon, sequins, large beads, rhinestones, flat glass marbles and other catchy colored little things.
The Christmas trees will be crocheted, so you should stock up on a crochet hook of the appropriate size. All work is done in a tight double crochet stitch. Knitting begins with a chain of 5 ch, which closes in a circle, and then we tie the first row of single crochets onto it, 2 tbsp each. for each loop of the bottom row and then, evenly adding loops, we knit a flat circle of any diameter we need. This is the bottom of the Christmas tree.

The larger the bottom, the higher the Christmas tree will turn out. Then we stop adding loops and knit at least 2 rows with the same number of loops, raising the knitting to the top, then decrease 2-3 loops and knit the row again without decreasing the loops. Continue knitting in the same way, forming a knitted cone.

When there is a short distance left to the top of the cone, filler should be placed in the remaining hole. The filler can be padding polyester, holofiber, batting, thin non-woven fabric (as in our case), cellulose napkins, even nylon from women's tights.

After the filler is placed inside, the top of the Christmas tree can be completed by decreasing 3 loops in each row. It turns out to be such an elastic dense cone.
Depending on the original strands of yarn, the Christmas tree cones look different. Some turn out richly green, others dusted with white snow, others give a bluish tint as if in the morning twilight.

It's a matter of decoration. Prepare small bows from ribbons.

Using hot glue, applying a small amount of it to the surface of the cone, we attach beads, buttons, bows, marbles, i.e. everything you have prepared for decoration.
